Østfold, located in southeastern Norway, has a long tradition of fruit cultivation, with fertile soils and mild summers that produce flavorful apples and berries. The region is home to small farms and producers crafting artisanal ciders and apple juices, offering farm shops, tastings, and authentic local experiences for visitors.

Dyre Farm produces organic apples, apple juice, and apple snacks on Raet in Rygge municipality, on the sunny side of the Oslofjord. The farm’s west-facing location down towards the sea provides the apples with optimal temperature, light, and sun exposure. Their Rød Aroma apple juice and blended Apple/Carrot juice have been awarded the specialty label for unique flavor. The Rød Aroma variety also won the grand final at “Det norske måltid” in Stavanger in January 2016.
