At Lien Farm, fruit and berries are harvested from the farm’s own garden, with apples of the highest quality and berries with vibrant color. The fruit is pressed into pure apple juice, which ferments into fresh and flavorful cider, made from both the farm’s own apples and those from local producers. Certain varieties are given an exciting twist with berries, creating unique and memorable tasting experiences.

Nordre Nes Farm is situated in a beautiful fruit-growing landscape on Nesodden, overlooking Norsjø in Telemark, with a particularly favorable climate for fruit cultivation. Apples have been grown here for sale for over 100 years, alongside pears, plums, and grains. The farm produces its own apple juice and cider, grows cut flowers, and operates a small farm shop.

The cider operation is run by two friends, Hans Olav and Morten, based in Midt-Telemark. Using Hans Olav’s apple farm as their starting point, the choice was clear: they would make cider from the farm’s own apples. After many long days and late nights of brewing, testing, and tasting, the result is a flavorful cider they are proud of. In spring 2021, they opened a farm shop in Børte, where visitors can taste and purchase their products.
