Buskerud, located in the heart of Eastern Norway, offers beautiful fruit-growing villages, lush valleys, and small-scale farm production. The region has a long tradition of fruit cultivation and artisanal craftsmanship, with farms producing apple juice and handcrafted ciders from local ingredients. Visitors can enjoy farm shops, tastings, and guided tours, and savor authentic cider products amidst scenic natural surroundings.

Egge Farm in Lier, just outside Drammen, has a long tradition of apple and fruit cultivation and is today run by the ninth generation, Marius Egge. Since the 1960s, the farm has been a pioneer in Norway in producing both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages of high quality, including apple juice, cider, wine, and spirits. Egge Farm was the first in Norway to make cider using the traditional method with secondary fermentation in the bottle and was behind the sparkling wine Egge ONE, which is now available at Vinmonopolet and in restaurants.
